When things aren't going your way, absolutely nothing goes your way. That seems to be the situation at the minute for Monaco, who have had financial impropriety charges to deal with at the same time as struggling hugely on the pitch.
The accusations leveled at the club were denied in a statement released, but the dire performances on the pitch are something that cannot be denied.
Things intensified in that regard when it was revealed that the vice-chairman went on a tirade criticising the players after the poor 2-2 draw against Dijon.
"The vice-president said what he said, it's his right to do so" manager Thierry Henry told reporters ahead of the game against Club Brugge.
"We're trying to get on with our own job. If you want to know more you'll have to ask him about it"
"This is new for me, I've only been here just over two weeks".
While the whole club seems to be in utter turmoil, a win in the Champions League could do a lot to change their season around.
