UEFA open disciplinary proceedings against Neymar after losing his temper on social media

The match, played on the 6th March at PSG's ground, ended with a 1-3 victory for the English side after a Manchester United which stunned the world. 

Neymar, who was injured, followed the encounter from the stands and the final minutes from the touchline, where the referee, on the advice of the VAR, gave a penalty against Kimpembe which injury time which Rashford scored and brought about the French club's elimination. 

The Brazilian called the referee's decision "a disgrace" and said on social media that it was not possible to give a penalty for that. "It's a disgrace, they've put four guys that don't understand football to analyse the play... How can he put his hands behind his back? It's not a penalty," wrote Neymar on Instagram. 

Through an official statement, UEFA announced that the Brazilian striker was being investigated. Not long afterwards, the opening of disciplinary proceedings, based on article 31.3 of UEFA's regulations, was made official.
