Trio of clubs targeting ex-Liverpool star, Oxlade-Chamberlain

According to 'The Mirror' there are three clubs who have Alex Oxlade-Chamberlain on their radar, after the midfielder left Liverpool this summer following his contract expiring. As a free agent, he represents a decent investment, as he brings a wealth of experience, following six years at Anfield and 35 England caps.

Alex Oxlade-Chamberlain enjoyed six seasons with Liverpool, following a move in 2018 from Arsenal. He made just shy of 150 appearances before leaving at the end of June this summer when his contract expired.

Now, as a free agent, the 29-year-old has appeared on the radar of various clubs, and would bring plenty of experience to any side, having won seven titles with the Reds, and earning 35 England caps.

According to 'The Mirror', the top three teams vying for his signing are Premier League side, Brentford, Turkish side Besiktas and even a Saudi Pro-League club, though the outlet doesn't disclose the name.

Brentford would reportedly offer a one-year contract for midfielder, who left Anfield on excellent terms, with manager Jurgen Klopp even saying when he left: "I love him ... and I’m pretty sure after his career - which I hope will continue for a long, long time - he will show up anywhere on television. If not, television made a big mistake!"
