Despite the fact that many see it as a done deal that Kane will join City for 187 million euros, the signing may not go ahead after all. The Tottenham directive will have the last word and those at the North London club are yet to speak out on the matter.
In fact, Spurs owner Joe Lewis is reportedly very annoyed at Harry Kane's behaviour, or that is what has been reported by the 'Daily Mail'. So much so that he may well punish the player and block his move to City.
It has not sat at all well with Lewis how Kane said publicly that he would need to have a conversation with Tottenham. He feels that, if he wanted to leave, he should have spoken directly to the club, without making such statements to the media.
According to the 'Daily Mail', Lewis would be willing to say goodbye to the 187 million euros he could get for the player. He feels that Kane has shown a lack of respect to the club, meaning the consequences could be harsh for the England international.
