Tottenham face failure in Jack Grealish chase

The 22-year-old reportedly told teammates that he would like to join Spurs if the opportunity arose.

Grealish will be looking for a club with Champions League potential, and somewhere which will improve the likelihood of an England call-up.

However, Villa had not yet received an official offer for Grealish from Spurs.
