For a few years now, Real Madrid changed their transfer policy. Instead of buying star players, they are signing youngsters like Vinicius, Rodrygo, Odegaard and Kubo. Therefore, Real Madrid can be relaxed if the coronavirus crisis affects the market.
The coronavirus crisis will prevent big money signings from being made. If Zidane were unable to sign anybody, he would still be able to field up to three different XIs. These XIs come from players currently at Real Madrid as well as players out on loan at other clubs.
As of today, Courtois; Carvajal, Ramos, Varane, Mendy; Casemiro, Kroos, Valverde; Vinicius, Benzema and Hazard are in Zidane's first XI. This is based on who Zidane has played most this season and who he likes the most. It is undoubtedly a great line-up.
Without them, the French coach could field a second team which includes those who are usually on the bench as well as some footballers currently out on loan: Lunin; Achraf, Eder Militao, Nacho, Marcelo; Modric, Isco, James Rodríguez; Rodrygo, Jovic and Bale.
But that is not all. They could even field a third XI. Marco Asensio is in this XI as he has not played all season due to a serious knee injury. Most of the players in the squad would be those currently out on loan elsewhere: Luca Zidane; Odriozola, Vallejo, Reguilón; Lucas Vázquez, Odegaard, Ceballos, Kubo; Brahim, Mariano and Marco Asensio.
