Keeping a cleansheet in any game is an impressive feat for a goalkeeper, but eight in a row?
That's exactly what has happened at Santos in the Brazilian league, where goalkeeper Vanderlei has gone more than 800 minutes in net without condeding a goal.
In other words, over 14 hours of football have been played since the last time a team managed to score against Santos, a feat marked by the club on their Twitter account.
While some have praised Banderlei directly, the goalkeeper wanted to thank all of his team-mates for heling reach this incredible figure.
"This is not just my achievement, but the whole team's. I want to thank God for this, we all know how hard it is to not concede for eight consecutive games" he said in an interview with 'Globoesporte'.
