Real Madrid are in second place in La Liga with 56 points, two behind Barcelona, and will host Eibar at Alfredo Di Stefano at 19.30.
Zidane began his pre-match press conference by remembering those who died in COVID-19 and by expressing his gratitude to the medical staff.
The return
"We're lucky to be playing again. We've worked very well physically. We're ready to start," said the Frenchman.
The coach also spoke of the change of venue: "The Di Stefano is our stadium. We're adapting to what we have to do and we're delighted. The distances are the same and we've trained there.
"This is Real Madrid and we have the best players. It's my job, we have to choose between 24 or 25 players," he said of the players discarded.
"All the players who are available are fit. The good thing is that they will all be on the bench. I like this and I can choose from the 23," he explained.
Hazard, Asensio, the changes and the schedule
In addition, Zidane gave good news regarding Hazard and Asensio: "They are going to be with us. They've had time to work and they'll be available."
What does the Frenchman think of the five changes? "I don't think about whether the five changes benefit or not. They are different rules and it is up to us to adapt. If there are five changes, five. If there are seven, seven," he said.
"We adapt. We live in such a strange time that we are happy and we adapt. We are prepared for anything," he added.
The coach of Real Madrid also said about the fact of playing after Barça: "It's the calendar and we can also talk about the rest of the teams. We are adapting to the situation".
"We have a habit of playing every three days. No excuses. We're going to play to the max, the rest is for you," he said.
"Hazard is very good. The bad news is about Jovic, who has hurt himself at home. He'll be out for a while, I don't know how long. It's bad news, we'll see if he can come back before the end of the season," he said of the Belgian and the Serb.
Playing without the hobby and confinement
Zidane said that playing without an audience would not take away their enthusiasm: "I don't like playing without an audience. This is the situation and we adapt. We respect what they tell us. Nothing is going to take away our desire to play. We will give everything on the field as with an audience"
"We've had a month to prepare and that's enough. I'm very positive. Maybe we can have a hard time finishing a game. Competition is not the same as hard training. The important thing is to be prepared," he explained.
How did you get through the confinement? "I've seen a lot of football during the confinement because I like it so much. A lot of football and a lot of family. Cooking nothing... I tried, but I'm a mess," he admitted.
The coach also talked about the Champions League: "We are going to play LaLiga. We have eleven finals and then the Champions will come back. It will not change anything or harm us. We will do what we have to do.
"It is the strangest game. Without an audience, at the Di Stéfano... It's strange, but when the match starts we will try to win it," he said about his 200th match with Madrid.
"What I've missed most is freedom. Nobody likes to be locked up. It's what we've been through. The positive thing is that things are back to normal. We think about the future and that things are on the right track," he said of the pandemic.
Zidane spoke of the empty stands: "I prefer to play with our people, but it's not possible. The players like to play with an audience better, but we will have to play without an audience in the games we have left.
Overcoming Del Bosque, La Liga and the Champions
"I don't think I'm going to outdo anyone. I'm lucky enough to be in this great club. I like football and being with my players. Being with them is a blessing. I thank the club for giving me this opportunity," he said.
"I've been playing in this shirt since 2001, talking to my friends and they always told me: 'you are going to stay'. I love the Spanish people, I love life here," he explained.
"We're two points behind, it's neither too much nor too little, and we have 11 finals left. We're going to give it everything we've got to win this league.
Do you prefer La Liga or the Champions League? "For me every game is important. A friendly with a smaller team is important. That's what they taught me with this shirt."
"If you're good in LaLiga you'll be good in the Champions League. It is the most difficult and Spanish football is very complicated," he said.
Finally, Zidane also spoke of the return to the stadiums: "I do not know what will happen. I prefer to play with crowds. At the moment there is no public. If the people in charge change this later on, we'll see."
