The biggest match in Spanish football between the country's two most successful clubs, will be played on 1st March, Javier Tebas confirmed.
Tebas, appearing on the LaLigaTV channel in English, revealed the date and kick off time for the match relating to matchday 26 of La Liga.
The match between Real Madrid and Barcelona will be first meeting since Quique Setien took over at Barcelona following Ernesto Valverde's sacking.
It is worth remembering that Barca and Real Madrid ended the first half of the La Liga season level on points so it could go a long way in deciding who wins the title.
The first meeting was played last month and it ended 0-0. It was supposed to be played at the end of October, but incidents in Barcelona following the imprisonment of several Catalan politicians led to the match being moved.
