Suárez learns that life is different at Atlético

Atletico lost out on two points. They couldn't do any better than a 0-0 draw against SD Huesca.

Suárez made his debut as a starter, but it didn't go over well. The Uruguayan striker only had one chance in 60 minutes at El Alcoraz, his first opportunity as a starter in Simeone's side, who put him in the starting line-up alongside Portugal's Joao Félix.

With the memory of his spectacular first 20 minutes against Granada, in which he scored two goals and got an assist, Suárez was in the starting XI against a Huesca team that gave the initiative to the visitors and played with lots of men at the back to make the Madrid side's life as difficult as possible.

As a result, the Uruguayan went through the first half without a single clear chance on goal. He did try to link up with Renan Lodi and Vitolo, but it made no difference.

The situation did not improve for Suárez, who saw SD Huesca get closer and closer to Slovenian Jan Oblak's goal in the second half.

In the 60th minute, his one chance of the game came from Joao Félix who predicted his run and put a great pass through to the forward.

It was a decisive moment that Suárez had to take advantage of, unfortunately for him, Andrés Frenández closed the angle down and saved the striker's attempt on goal.
