Newcastle United will keep Steve Bruce as manager for next season. The current boss will stay at the club for the 2020-21 campaign, 'The Telegraph' reports.
Mike Ashley will let Bruce decide on his squad for next season. And the thing is, despite having been on the tight rope, he will finally continue.
All of that comes after the potential takeover of the club by a Saudi Arabian conglomerate has stalled. The Premier League has still not approved the purchase and so Ashley remains in charge.
Amid the imminent end of the season and the beginning of the transfer market, Newcastle have preferred to stick with Steve Bruce for next season.
