Sterling and Laporte tweet after City leave ESL: "Ok, bye"

Man City and Sterling, plus others, said goodbye to the European Super League. The club announced in a statement that, in the end, they will not play in this new competition. Sterling was quite happy with the news. The Liverpool footballers also slammed it.
Sterling said "Ok, bye." He also included an emoji of a hand saying goodbye. In response to the tweet, several City fans thanked him for the tweet and they were very happy about the decision made by the Sky Blues. In London, ahead of the Premier League game between Chelsea and Brighton, there was pressure on Chelsea to do the same.
