Spurs are still hoping that their £850million stadium redevelopment will be completed in time for the 2018-19 season, but have put in a request to accomodate all eventualities.
According to 'Sky Sports', the north London club submitted two proposals; first to play their opening four games away from home, and second to play three away with the fourth at home at Wembley.
Premier League rules state that each team must play all their home games in the same stadium over a season, but are reportedly taking Spurs' request into consideration.
The outcome of the decision is likely to be announced before the end of the week, although it may not be decided before the Premier League fixtures are released on Thursday.
