Another team are now free from the relegation battle with two matches to spare. Now it is Southampton, who suffered a great deal to get a point at home to Bournemouth.
The Saints, who went ahead twice, saw how they lost their lead on two occasions. Shane Long opened the scoring after 12 minutes.
Before half-time, Gosling and Wilson put the Cherries in front. After the interval, Ward Prowse and Targett gave the home side the lead once again.
However, the match did not end like that and Wilson got his second of the game five minutes from time to level the scores. It finished 3-3.
The point was enough for the Saints to confirm survival thanks to Cardiff's loss. The Welsh side lost to an already relegated Fulham after a goal by Ryan Babel.
Cardiff made it more difficult for themselves to stay up and now must wait to see what Brighton do later on Saturday. If the Seagulls win, they would have a six point cushion with just six points left.
Furthermore, Wolverhampton managed to win at Watford in the fight for 7th. Raul Jimenez opened the scoring for the away side.
Andre Gray managed to get the equaliser after half-time, but Diogo Jota put Wolves back in front in the 77th minute. Wolves are now in 7th by three points.
Lastly, Everton climbed into eighth after a goalless draw with Crystal Palace. Despite dominating the game, they were unable to take adavantage of their opportunities.
