David de Gea already knows that he has to get his act together if he wants a place at Manchester United. Dean Henderson, a promising goalkeeper, has had a great campaign and is already in contention for a place in the starting line-up in the near future.
But first, Ole Gunnar Solskjaer confirmed that he will end the campaign at Sheffield United, as Manchester United will extend his loan spell beyond what was planned by COVID-19.
"I don't care when the season ends. Sheffield United have had Dean in goal all season, so they must be able to finish him off this season," he said in a statement to 'Metro'.
Solskjaer praised the goalkeeper: "Dean has made some very good decisions in recent years and has made incredible progress."
And he opened the doors to United for him in the future, although he said he did not know where he would play next year: "We have not decided what to do with Dean next season. This year has been very good for him. He's had some really good performances and he's shown that he's going to be England's and Manchester United's number one soon. De Gea has already been warned."
