'Sarrismo' is known to be a highly specific footballing philosophy, something that not all players will be suited to, as seems to be the case for the out-of-favour duo.
In Drinkwater's case, it would be difficult most to try and force their way in to the side ahead of Mateo Kovacic, Cesc Fabregas, N'Golo Kante, Ross Barkley, Jorginho and Ruben Loftus-Cheek. Even so, his manager does not seem convinced at the former Leicester man's ability to perform for the 'Blues'.
"The situation is that Drinkwater for me is not suitable for a midfield with two midfielders. I told him two months ago what I think." the Italian said.
With regards to Victor Moses, the full-back role which he thrived in for Antonio Conte is not one that fits in to Sarri's style of play.
"And Moses is more suitable for playing like a wing-back than like a winger or a full-back.
"If you look only at the Premier League, the situation is bad, you're right," he continued speaking about Moses's lack of game time.
