Somewhat surprisingly, Jadon Sancho left Manchester City a couple of seasons ago for Borussia Dortmund. He originally started playing for the reserves team, but Sancho soon reached the first team with his good performances.
At the age of 19, the English winger reviewed his last campaign for "SoccerBible" and spoke about everything he's experienced in Germany, with his explosion at the end of the previous season and confirmation during the last one.
"I just have to stay on top and hope I don't suffer any injuries," said the Englishman, who quickly showed his admiration for the way the Germans play football.
"I still say to myself, 'This is crazy, I don't know what's going on here."
Sancho, who closed the 2019-20 season with 13 goals and 16 assists in official matches, recently renewed his contract until 2022, but did so without any termination clause to facilitate his departure.
When asked about Pep Guardiola, his answer has surprised the public, particularly because of the situation regarding his exit from the Spaniard's team. Sancho was very grateful for everything that happened to him at City, although he preferred to continue his career outside the club.
"I still love Pep. And I still love everyone in the club because they took me out of Watford and helped me develop. I'm grateful to everyone," concluded the young Brit.
