Sanabria has come back to life with Davide Nicola's arrival at Genoa in December. Until then, the Paraguayan striker was not in the Italian club's plans, something which has changed completely.
That could make you think that Sanabria is staying at Genoa, although the footballer, on loan from Betis, still does not know where he will be playing next term.
"Once all of this has finished and we return to normality, I would like to end the season in the best way possible and reach our final objective, which is staying up. There are still a lot of games left to play, but I would say that we are on the right path. We will see what happens later," he told 'La Gazzetta dello Sport'.
Davide Nicola's arrival has brought about a change in the Paraguayan. "I think that, apart from the tactical and physical aspect, he has been able to work with us on a psychological level, taking advantage of each of our qualities and using them to the maximum so that we all feel important," he said.
Sanabria has been through difficult situations at Genoa, but everything has changed. "Let's say that I went through difficult moments, many months without being selected. I saw the Genoa matches at home and I missed being with my teammates, but they were decisions made by the coaches at that moment," Sanabria explained.
Now, the striker looks at it differently. "I think I can make a positive assessment of Genoa, since my daughter was born here and I've enjoying my football since the coach's arrival," the player concluded.
