A lively and attractive match was expected, but the start of Liverpool v Manchester City exceeded all expectations. In just 15 minutes, there were two goals, controversy, and a team completely beaten.
Manchester City, who began by dominating, went down 1-0 in a move full of controversy. There could have been a handball from Alexander-Arnold, Aguero and De Bruyne stopped and, after Salah's counter-attack, Fabinho scored with a bullet past Bravo.
Still recovering from 1-0, Manchester City dominated and could have leveled through a couple of set pieces poorly defended by Liverpool, but did not take advantage of it.

Klopp's men would be the ones who would take advantage of theirs to make it 2-0. Robertson arrived with a lot of speed on the wing and put in a measured cross at the far post. There Salah appeared to head very easily into the other corner, impossible for Claudio Bravo.
Although the Egyptian seemed to be offside, Michael Oliver let it go and the goal stood. VAR didn't rectify the decision either.
