Ronaldo posts on social media ahead of Atletico match

Manchester United beat Leeds 2-4 in a six goal thriller at Elland Road on Sunday. This was their final league match ahead of the week in which they return to European competition to face Atletico Madrid in the last 16 of the Champions League.

Depite having not scored in the match, Cristiano Ronaldo seemed delighted with the team's win on social media and wanted to send a message to the United fans ahead of their European clash.

"Very important Premier League win before we change our focus to the Champions League and head to Madrid. Back on track! We stand United!", wrote the Portuguese on his Twitter and Instagram pages. 

Although CR7 was not on the scoresheet, his compatriot Bruno Fernandes, Maguire, Fred and Elanga, all scored to gain the three points against the Whites.
