Real Madrid's talisman has never taken so long to score at the Santiago Bernabeu in the league. In the eight seasons he has spent at Los Blancos, Ronaldo has scored his first goal in August on two occasions, five times in September and in just once in October in 2015.
Until this term, Ronaldo has never reached the month of November without having scored a La Liga goal at home. Although it's true that the 32-year-old has only starred in three home games because of a suspension, which deprived him of playing in the draws against Valencia and Levante, he has still played 270 minutes of football without getting off the mark at home.
He failed to score in the defeat against Betis, as well as against Espanyol and Eibar, although against the former he contributed to the 2-0 victory with an assist. However, his poor run of form has been extended elsewhere and is not just occuring in Madrid, as CR7 has only found the back of the net on one occasion in La Liga this season, in the 2-1 win at Getafe. One goal in 540 minutes.
Although his numbers in La Liga are less than impressive so far this campaign, in the Champions League it's a totally different story. The Portuguese star is in top form in the European competition with six goals in four games. It's clear that Ronaldo has a lot to prove this season in La Liga and against Las Palmas he can begin to make up for lost time.
