"Ronaldo back to Sporting? I am very happy with my players"

Just a couple of weeks ago, Cristiano Ronaldo's possible return to Sporting de Portugal began to be strongly rumoured, due to the decision of the Portuguese striker and his partner, Georgina Rodriguez, to buy one of the most expensive mansions in the country.
And there has been so much talk about CR7's possible return to the club where he was born, especially after his problems with Manchester United worsened, that Ruben Amorim has had to come out at a press conference to deny it.
Asked about the possible landing of the former Real Madrid and Juventus striker, the Portuguese coach replied: "I have been asked this question 1,000 times. He is a Manchester United player, he has his history and everyone at Sporting loves him very much".
"He is the one who says leave him alone to decide his future. He's the one who decides his future, so I'm not going to talk about that here, because these are things that I don't decide," added Amorim, making it clear that the club have not considered his return.
He added: "I haven't read anything, but I'll say it again: I'm very happy with my players and with our project. Ronaldo is a Manchester United player.
