Maxi Lopez's time at Barcelona is not remembered too fondly by the fans. He arrived from River Plate and had a promising debut, but left through the team's back door shortly after.
In 'Mundo Deportivo', the striker has remembered his time in Barcelona and how Ronaldinho tried to integrate him by all means.
"He used to come kicking in my door to get me out," Maxi Lopez recalled. "We would go to dinner together and he would show me the city. Ronaldinho was always like that with me and all the teammates," continued the striker.
"He was a boy who integrated you both on and off the pitch with his unstoppable joie de vivre. We came to form a really nice group and today we still keep in touch Rafa Marquez, Guly, Thiago Motta, Belletti ... We were very close," continued the footballing globetrotter.
"I joined a team with many important players and they made me play alongside Ronaldinho. In the first few days it was very difficult for me to integrate, understand and get into the group dynamic," concluded the Argentinean.
