Robbery shocks Onana's family as €70,000 handbag stolen from wife

A frightening incident has shaken Andre Onana's family. According to the Daily Mail, Kamayou was assaulted on 29 March and had her handbag and a luxury timepiece stolen in what appears to have been a targeted attack.

Kamayou had been dining at an Italian restaurant in the quiet village of Alderley Edge, just south of Manchester. Upon leaving the premises and entering the car park, she was reportedly confronted by a thief who threatened her and made off with a Hermes Birkin bag worth more than €70,000, along with a Rolex watch.

The report adds that police have since arrested a 25-year-old man who is believed to be responsible for the robbery. He has also been charged with drug-related offences and is due to appear before Chester Crown Court in May.

Onana and Kamayou have been married since 2023, with Kamayou relocating to the UK following her husband's move from Inter Milan to Manchester United in the summer of that year. The couple also have a child together.
