Kylian Mbappe turned down Real Madrid just before the end of the season, when he announced that he was renewing at PSG until 2025. For obvious reasons, this did not go down at all well with many Real Madrid fans. They expressed their displeasure on the day of the Champions League final when Ancelotti's men took on Liverpool in Paris.
Ahead of the big game, many Madrid fans came together and 'Tiempo de Juego' journalist Luis Millan filmed a group of fans chanting "F**k Mbappe, f**k Mbappe." It was a way of expressing their anger at the striker who had been linked with a move to the Bernabeu for years.
It was one of the initial reactions to Mbappe's annoucement that he was staying at the French side. He seemed to get a rap on the knuckles from the Madrid squad on social media. Benzema, for example, published an image of the rapper Tupac Shakur shaking hands with a friend who betrayed him.
In any case, whether there is bad blood between Mbappe and Madrid or not, he will keep on trying to win trophies at PSG. The main aim is to lift the Champions League, Madrid's favourite competition. Proof of that is they are in the final which is taking place, funnily enough, on French soil.
