PSG's formal offer to Messi already on the table: just missing details

There is a formal offer from PSG to Messi and also a pre-agreement. The newspaper 'Marca' assures the first and 'RMC Sport' guarantees the second. According to these media outlets, the final advances were made on the morning of 8th August, when the Argentinian said goodbye to Barcelona in a press conference and assured that he had done everything possible to renew his contract.

A meeting between the Argentinian's lawyers and French club's representatives was key. In it, the positions were brought closer in a more agile way than if another way had been used to undertake the talks. That is why there are only a few details left for the former Barca player to appear at the Parc des Princes as their new star.

It had been conjectured that the winger would travel to France on Sunday 8th, although everything seems to indicate that this will not be the case.
