Portugal slam refereeing after CR7 "goal" disallowed and penalty turned down

Cristiano Ronaldo had a frustrating first half in his fifth World Cup. Portugal had a difficult match against Ghana and USA referee Ismail Elfath was involved in lots of controversy. 

There were three incidents in the first half which could have change the course of the game. The first, after 31 minutes, with Cristiano Ronaldo's goal controversially disallowed (although the whistle already gone). 

Then, a few minutes later, Joao Felix had a foul given against him inside the box when he was trying to reach a 50:50 ball. To make things worse, it was actually the Atletico man who was fouled. 

The next controversial moment came in the 45th minute after Kudus' tackle on Cancelo was only given a yellow card when the Portuguese wanted a red.

In the 65th minute, it was Ghana's turn to be upset when Salisu was adjudged to have Ronaldo and the former Man Utd man converted to score in five World Cups. Andre Ayew then levelled for Ghana eight minutes later before Joao Felix put Portugal back ahead.
