Portugal players upset with CR7, who earlier threatened to leave!

Will Cristiano Ronaldo start against Morocco or not? That is the big question everyone is asking in Portugal. Things are tense despite the fact the Federation, Fernando Santos and the player have come up to show unity. 

But Cristiano, for one reason or another, is always in the news. 'Record' reports that there is no certain discontent amongst his teammates.

According to the newspaper, the fact Regufe has formed part of Portugal's expedition during the World Cup has not gone down well with the players.

The reason is that the rest were told that they could not take anyone with them to the tournament. However, the former Man Utd striker's right hand man is present. 

Regufe, 'Record' explains, as well as forming part of the group, also accessed the team's facilities and other areas reserved exclusively for the players.

The Portuguese dressing room believes that former Sporting Lisbon player Regfe has taken an "excessive influence" inside the national team and that is causing problems. The footballers do not understand why he is allowed to have him so close, even on game days. However, what hurts them most is the fact that the rest were told they could not bring guests to the World Cup. 

Another controversy which comes after the same media outlet published Ronaldo's intention to leave the Portugal team after a spat with Fernando Santos. The Portuguese FA denied this was the case, but controversy has surrounded Cristiano Ronaldo and Portugal at this World Cup.
