Pogba hosts image rights in fiscal paradise, claims Football Leaks

Paul Pogba uses an offshore company in Jersey to maintain his image rights for tax reasons, following a prolonged battle between agents over their ownership.

The latest Football Leaks claim from Mediapart, describes how the world's most expensive player was allegedly involved in the dispute between current agent Mino Raiola and former agent Oualid Tanazefti to gain control of the valuable commodity.

In 2014, Pogba's former agent and adviser, Frenchman Tanazefti, scammed him by making him sign a contract which gave the agent all the image rights to the player for a period of 15 years. At the time, the rights were hosted via a company named "Koyot Group" in Luxembourg.

However, when Raiola became the player's representative, he did everything possible to retrieve the rights and host them in Jersey via "Aftermath Limited".

Pogba's image rights allow him to market his brand worldwide, and were moved to Jersey before he agreed an extremely lucrative sponsorship deal with Adidas.

Mediapart also highlights how Raiola also profited from Pogba's time at Juventus, claiming that the agent earned €10 million over the course of four years from the Serie A club.
