Spain had taken control of the game early on with two goals in the first half but after Rhian Brewster gave England hope with his eighth goal of the tournament, Foden took centre stage.
The young playmaker played a key role in the equaliser, finding Steven Sessegnon down the right to cross for Morgan Gibbs-White who converted from close range.

Just minutes later, Foden got on the scoresheet himself, ghosting in at the back post to take advantage of some poor Spain marking to fire England into the lead.
