Pep Guardiola named The Best men's coach 2023

Manchester City manager Pep Guardiola was voted coach of the year at 'The Best' awards, ahead of Inter Milan's Simone Inzaghi and Napoli boss Luciano Spalletti.

Guardiola won the second treble in English football history between 19 December 2022 and 20 August 2023, winning his fifth Premier League, the first Champions League in City's history, and the FA Cup.

In his seventh season in charge of the Citizens, Guardiola fulfilled his dream of repeating the treble he achieved with Barcelona, as well as giving City the first Champions League title of his life.

This is the first time Guardiola has won 'The Best' award, after coming second in 2019 behind Jurgen Klopp, third in 2021 behind Thomas Tuchel and Roberto Mancini, and third also in 2022 behind Lionel Scaloni and Carlo Ancelotti.
