Spanish international full-back Pedro Pedro, who had to go off injured against Boavista last Tuesday, will not play the last two games of the season.
The Portuguese club told 'EFE' that Porro has a muscle injury in his left thigh and he will miss the derby against Benfica and the home game with Maritimo.
At the moment, the extent of his muscle injury is not known. However, it prevented him from playing until the end of the win over Boavista which saw Sporting win the Portuguese league.
Pedro Porro joined Sporting this year on loan from Man City and he will remain at the Portuguese outfit next season as it was a two year loan.
The defender has become one of the key players at the club and his good performances meant that Luis Enrique callled him up for the Spain squad. He is a doubt for the Euros though.
