Just 20 years old, Pedri has proven already that he has what it takes to lead Barcelona. The Tenerife native added two trophies to his cabinet last season with the club: the Spanish Super Cup and a La Liga title.
The playmaker doesn't have any intention of slowing down however, and has declared himself to be keen to fight for all the trophies he can next season.
"We're a young team that wants to improve ... I don't know what will happen in the transfer window and who they're going to be able to sign, but we have a good group, with a lot of good qualities, and next year we have to go out and fight for everything. It had been a long time since we won a big title and this season we managed it", he said to 'El Dia'.
His two main objectives: the Champions League with Barca and the World Cup with Spain. "It's clear. They're trophies that every player wants to have and I haven't had the privilege of winning either. It's something on my mind and obviously I'm going to fight to get there and be in a place to win them".
Finally, Pedri spoke about his first La Liga title: ""It rewards regularity, which has a lot of merit and distinguishes the best of the whole championship. It is very difficult to win because you have to be trying to come out on top every day; and when you get to the moment of celebration, it is something that fills you, of course. Even more so for me, as I had never experienced it before", he concluded.
