Lucas Vazquez wants to continue his career at Real Madrid. This is what he said at the press conference ahead of Tuesday's game against Union Berlin.
"Of course I would renew for three years. Real Madrid has been my dream since I was a child, it's my home, where I feel very good," said the Galician full-back, who is delighted with his involvement with Real Madrid.
"There are better and worse moments. When you don't enjoy it, you have a bad time. In those moments you have to keep a cool head, concentrate to the maximum, knowing what you are capable of. I'm not lacking in confidence, I'm where I've always wanted to be, I give everything for my club and my team-mates," he said.
The Spanish club's main objective for Tuesday's match is to win the game: "The team is in a good dynamic, we are making a very good start to the season. The objective is to get a full house of victories in the group stage, to play a good game.
"The role of favourites has always been the same for us, we've always shown that we compete like the best. What we have in our minds is to win this game, get through to the last 16, the quarter-finals... without thinking we're better or worse than anyone else," he said.
"I think that this season, with all the departures, the team hasn't dropped off that winning line. It shows that whoever comes in, the team continues to win. We're training very well, in very good harmony," Lucas Vazquez said.
