Nike launches new boots inspired by Ronaldo's time at Man Utd

Sports brand Nike launched on Monday its new football boots called 'Mercurial Dream Speed 7' and confirmed to be inspired by Cristiano Ronaldo.

"Speed beyond your wildest dreams. Get the speed you need to chase your wildest dreams with the Mercurial Dream Speed 7, a boot inspired by athletes like Cristiano Ronaldo who are consistently working to take their speed to the next level," they wrote on Twitter.

The new boots are in orange and reddish colours as they are inspired by the Portuguese striker's best years at Manchester United, more specifically in the 2008/09 season, when Ronaldo wore orange boots.

According to the 'Daily Mail', several football stars such as Real Madrid's Vinicius Junior, Paris Saint-Germain's Kylian Mbappe and Liverpool's Darwin Nunez are expected to wear these new boots launched by Nike.
