Pogba has been far from his brilliant best at Old Trafford this season, and in light of his sudden plummet in form and his public fallout with manager Jose Mourinho, the Frenchman is desperate to seal a move away from the club.
Not so coincidentally, French giants PSG are well aware of the turmoil Pogba is enduring in England, and are exploring the feasibility of bringing the midfielder back to his native Paris in the next transfer window. Not only this, PSG are using one of the best weapons in their armoury to secure the deal; star forward Neymar. The Brazilian phoned Pogba back in September to ask if he was happy with life in Manchester, and query if he was interested in moving back home to the French capital.
Pogba and Neymar have been close friends for some time, with the Brazilian even trying to tempt the French midfielder into moving to Barcelona from Juventus in 2016, before Pogba eventually returned to his first club Manchester United.
Once again, Neymar is chancing his arm at being a go-between for a potential transfer of Pogba to Paris Saint Germain. The Ligue 1 outfit are desperate to secure a Champions League title, and as such, would invest heavily in order to unite Pogba with Neymar and fellow Frenchman Kylian Mbappé , in what would surely be an unbeatable attacking offensive.

Without doubt Pogba would add quality to the current French champions, but a deal would cost close to the world record £198m PSG spent on Neymar in 2017, not to mention the complex and lengthy negotiations required for such a deal. Also, it is rumoured that Pogba himself would prefer a move to Barcelona; having his heart set on joining the Catalan club, and even having agreed personal terms on a deal last summer, before current club Manchester United refused to business.

Pogba's current situation at Manchester United went from bad to worse this week; as after having fallen out with manager Jose Mourinho and being stripped of the vice-captaincy, the Frenchman sensationally claimed that he had been banned from speaking to the media. Walking past reporters after the team's disappointing goalless draw at home to Valencia, Pogba declined to be interviewed, simply stating: "I've been told I'm not allowed."
This follows a controversial outburst from the Frenchman in August, when he claimed that he was unable to discuss his situation at the club out of fear of receiving a fine, as well as publicly criticising manager Mourinho's tactics after their draw with Wolverhampton Wanderers at Old Trafford.
