Now Neymar is being investigated for a second reason: for the supposed spreading of personal photos of the woman who accused him of rape, in a video which the footballer himself shared on social media.
According to 'Globoesporte', the police head Bruno Gilaberte and a police inspector were received by Brazilian national team staff and the Brazilian Football Federation's (CBF) security chief.
These agents saw Neymar was not at the training camp (the team had just been given a day off) and they carried out an administrative check.
Neymar, according to 'Globoesporte', will investigated from Monday onwards by the IT crimes department. The section dedicated to the protection of women is the police force in charge of investigating the allegations of rape which a woman said about Neymar and which he rejected hours afterwards.
The player will be called to give a statement and both his mobiles and the woman's will be seized by police officers.
Neymar is subjected to an investigation under Article 281C which contemplates crimes related to the spreading material without the victim's consent. The PSG man's video contains edited photos with parts of the body covered. This could lead to a prison sentence of between one and five years.
Neymar arrived after the police visit
The Brazilian arrived, after the police had gone, in a helicopter which landed at a nearby heliport at 12pm local time.
Despite the thick fog, the helicopter managed to land in Teresopolis and Neymar and some of his Brazil teammates such as Dani Alves, Thiago Silva, Paqueta and Arthur, got off the helicopter.
The whole squad arrived half an hour later than the time which was given by Brazil coach, Tite.
Neymar was one of the last to get off the helicopter and he walked calmly to the van which drove him to the Granja Comary.
The PSG player was back with the Brazil squad a day after a young Brazilian girl had accused him of raping her in a Parisian hotel. They met there after talking to each other over the internet and after he had sent her the flight tickets.
