The clubs are adapting to the new reality after COVID-19. Juventus are concerned about the financial side of things.
According to the 'Corriere di Torino', Juventus have got a measure in mind. The paper says that the club are not thinking of signing players who earn more than nine million euros. Paul Pogba, one of Juve's main targets, would be out of the question.
Obviously, this measure would not affect those players who are already in the squad. At this moment in time, Cristiano, Higuain, Dybala, De Ligt, Ramsey and Rabiot are the footballers who more than nine million euros a year.
With this measure, Juve want to keep the club financially sound. The coronavirus crisis has led to financial losses and they must tighten their belts even if that means missing out on big names like Pogba.
There was speculation recently that Juve could even offer Man Utd Ramsey and Rabiot so that they sold them Pogba. It remains to be seen whether this new measure is approved. In that case, the only way Pogba could join the club would be by accepting a pay cut.
