Portugal has a lot of young talent. The main figure of an incredible generation of Portuguese footballers is Joao Félix, but underneath him is Pedro Neto, the Portuguese striker for Wolves in the Premier League.
The young player, who could be Jorge Mendes' next prospect, made his debut this Wednesday with his National Team against Andorra, a match that Portugal won 7-0 and the 20-year-old winger was on the scoreboard.
"He is a natural talent, he was born with that gift. It was an incredible thing his goal, as Messi. He took the ball, fooled everyone, sent the ball over the goalkeeper and scored," said Telmo Sousa, one of his first coaches.
Visibly moved, Sousa highlighted the figure of the young footballer. "Pedro stood out at a very early age because of his individual technique, he always played above his level, despite being short," he added.
Now the regional manager of the Football Association of Viana do Castelo, a city in the north of Portugal, trained Neto at Perspectiva em Jogo.
