FT: Netherlands 2-0 Norway! The Netherlands celebrate as they reach the FIFA World Cup finals, while Norway's crestfallen players are out of contention! Despite posing almost no threat on goal throughout, this was an anxious, unconvincing win, launched by Bergwijn's emphatic late finish and sealed by Depay's last-gasp close-range finish. An unremarkable performance ends in a memorable night as Oranje reach next year's showpiece as group winners!

GOAL for hosts! Memphis Depay... The Netherlands are going to the FIFA World Cup finals! Norway have no-one at the back as their opponents break quickly from a corner, Bergwijn charging into the penalty area through the centre and playing in the unmarked Depay to his right, who fires in. Van Gaal offers a thumbs up from on high!

GOAL for Netherlands! The hosts have done it! The hosts have done it! This is a terrific team move, starting in midfield with Blind and spreading play briskly to Danjuma in a central position on the edge of the penalty area, who lays the ball off to Bergwijn in front of goal on the right. The Tottenham striker, who has been the provider so many times from the right wing tonight, lashes an unerring finish into the roof of the net. That could give the Netherlands victory in this group!
Excellent work by Bergwijn, who collects the ball outside the penalty area on the right and races past Meling, standing up a hanging cross for Danjuma beyond the far post. The forward can only lash the tricky opportunity into the stand – he would, perhaps, have had more success attempting to find a team-mate.

What an untapped opportunity for the home side: Depay passes too late, allowing Strandberg to intercept. Meanwhile, Turkey are now ahead against Montenegro. Norway must, therefore, win if they still want to have a chance of reaching the FIFA World Cup.

Depay has an attempt on goal. Terrific technique from the demonstrably confident Depay, turning to curl in a volley as the ball falls to him from a considerable distance out after Norway partially clear a cross. Nyland dives to take, but that would have been a sensational goal.
38'
Thorsby is penalised for a foul on Dumfries and is shown a yellow card.
27'
Close! Danjuma breaks free inside the penalty area on the left and fires a shot wide of the far post.
26'
Bad news for Norway fans: Turkey have equalised in Montenegro, where 26 minutes have been played. That means they are now on course to finish second on goal difference!

Depay is flagged for offside.
15'
Netherlands find space on the right near the penalty area again, Dumfries whipping in a delivery which Depay attempts to meet with an audacious back-flick at the far post. Nyland gathers comfortably.
13'
Bergwijn crosses to the far post from the right flank with the outside of his boot, finding Depay rising above Strandberg. His effort bounces tamely in front of Nyland.

Elyounoussi is penalised for a foul on Bergwijn.
