Napoli's situation is not good and Arsenal's situation is not much better. Due to this, the Italian press speak about the possibility of this loan, however, the rumour has to be taken with a pinch of salt, because it is very unlikely.
According to 'La Gazzeta dello Sport', Napoli will offer Arsenal three million euros for the loan of Lucas Torreira, as well as the deal including an option to buy for another 27 million.
The problem is that Arsenal don't seem ready to let Torreira leave. The footballer has become very important in the last few weeks and now, just before the New Year, he has played 21 games, starting 13 of them. Last season he played a staggering 50 games.
Moreover, Lucas Torreira is valued at around 40 million euros, so the Napoli's offer seems very scarce, in view of all the factors that come together around the Uruguayan footballer.
