Napoli deny criticism of Ronaldo by Higuaín

Napoli has issued a statement defending the actions of Higuaín. In which the Italian side denies that the Argentinian forward gave an interview to 'Don Balón', which published alleged negative statements against Cristiano Ronaldo.

"Regarding the alleged statements attributed to Gonzalo Higuaín, which were then published in an interview, both Napoli and the striker categorically deny having ever given an interview to 'Don Balon'. Therefore, the alleged statements are considered false and baseless", said the statement .

According to the interview, Higuaín had questioned his ex-teammate Cristiano Ronaldo. "He is said to be the best, but he is overvalued. I've shared a dressing room with Leo Messi, and Ronaldo has nothing on him. He ego is ridiculously big, and if you don't tell him he's not the best, he's not your friend," the Italian paper published.
