Musiala is one of the hottest talents in the Bundesliga and he provided further evidence of this in the duel between Wolfsburg and Bayern in week 29 of the championship. Under pressure, he kept hold of the ball between a number of defenders to open the scoring.
The play started with a great pass from Alfonso Davies towards Musiala. When he realised that he didn't have much space in the box, he was able to get away from the defender with a fantastic 'croqueta' skill, driving forward a metre whilst keeping hold of the ball and finding a way to beat Casteels.
After a mistake from the GK, Musiala forced him to pick the ball out of the back of the net with a powerful strike from close range. The home keeper managed to get a touch on the ball, although it wasn't enough to stop the scoring becoming 0-1. Casteel's bad form was confirmed mere minutes later.
After a cross into the area, he put out just the palm of his hand with the (bad) intention of clearing the ball. His attempt turned into a golden assist which Choupo-Moting duly converted under no pressure from the opposition, scoring Bayern's second of the match. Muller's loss of possession later in the match allowed Wolfsburg back in the game, however Musiala doubled his tally with a header shortly after.
