With just over two weeks to go before the start of La Liga, Barcelona are gradually adding players to their pre-season training camp, although there are still a number of players yet to join the Barcelona squad.
These are the players who played in the last rounds of the Copa America. That is to say Emerson Royal, Kun Agüero and, of course, Leo Messi, whose future is still up in the air after almost a month since his contract with the club came to an end.
In principle, as reported by 'AS', the Argentine star should join Ronald Koeman's discipline on Monday 2th August at 9.00 am, although he will not see the rest of his teammates.
They will already be in the small training camp that the club will be holding in Germany, so Messi, Agüero and Emerson will have to get ready on their own at Barca's training centre for the Gamper against Juventus. That is, of course, if Messi and Barca can sort out their situation before the aforementioned 2th August.
The tournament organised by Barça will take place on 8th August and not having the Argentinian star for that game would be a real moral blow for the fans and would increase the nerves among the fans with the league opener just around the corner. It would be a race against the clock for Joan Laporta and his board.
