If in the last few months Blaise Matuidi's renewal was a long term objective, for Juventus it has now become a necessity. Time is tight and his contract is expiring.
'TuttoSport' informs that negotiations are being held by Juve with Matuidi's agents. He seems willing to stay at the club.
Matuidi's contract is up on 30th June and, in fact, the player could have already spoken to other clubs to seal his exit from Juventus for next season.
At 32 years old, the ex-PSG star is having a somewhat irregular season. With Sarri he has a guaranteed spot, but Juventus expect him to improve his contribution to the team after playing 26 matches so far this season.
