Manchester United forward Anthony Martial played as the main striker against Sevilla in the first leg of the Europa League quarter-final. The Frenchman returned to action in this match to face his former team.
His coach Erik ten Hag was asked about the 27-year-old's performances and his versatility: "For me, he's best as a centre-forward but I think he can play in more positions," he told reporters.
"I want him to be because he's a great player. He definitely has the qualities to play top football. When he's fit, our team plays better," Ten Hag added.
Martial has scored seven goals and provided three assists in 18 competitive matches this season despite being injured since January.
