Vito Mannone has become the third Sunderland player to sign a new contract with the Black Cats this summer, following Jermain Defoe and Patrick Van Aanholt's contract extensions.
Mannone has signed a two-year deal at the Stadium of Light which will keep him under contract until 2018.
The Italian played 19 times for Sunderland last season as the Wearside outfit narrowly avoided relegation.
