Manchester United have been told they will need to pay £52m should they want to sign young Benfica defender, Ruben Dias. Dias is considered to be one of the best young defenders in Europe, and according to the Sun, Manchester United now have the valuation of the player.
Dias has had a stellar season for Benfica this season, with Benfica's superb young team including the likes of Gedson Fernandes and Joao Felix thriving in La Liga Nos this season, as well as reaching the Quarter-Finals of the Europa League.
It seems United are looking to change their transfer policy this summer, with the club looking to sign young players who can considerably improve in the future as opposed to potentially already established players.
Both Marcos Rojo and Eric Baily seem destined to leave after barely featuring under Solskjaer since his arrival. Phil Jones and Chris Smalling will both be staying at the club after signing new contracts, whilst Victor Lindelof, who joined from Benfica, has clearly established himself as United's best central defender.
United are also interested in England's Harry Maguire, but they will likely face stiff competition from both Chelsea and Arsenal for the Leicester City central defender.
Maguire has once again had an excellent season this season after an impressive World Cup with England in the Summer.
