Manchester United step up Alex Sandro interest

The Juventus left-back has caught United's attention who are hoping to make it a done deal once the season wraps up. Mourinho is looking to bolster his squad to challenge top-flight champions Manchester City next season.
The report also alleges that the player is keen on the move and has asked Juventus to agree on a deal. Sandro could fetch up to as much as £52million if the deal is finalised ahead of the summer.
Luke Shaw currently occupies left-back position, although following a cooling in his relationship with Mourinho, the 22-year-old has featured in just eight starting lineups in the Premier League this season.
United are looking to make significant changes in several areas ahead of their next campaign. Not only is Mourinho searching for a new left-back, but also a centre-back, full-back and potentially central midfield options too.
Michael Carrick will be retiring and Marouane Fellaini's longevity at United is uncertain given that he has failed to agree a contract extension with the Manchester club.
