Manchester United may challenge Leicester City for the signing of Youri Tielemans in the summer. The Belgian international is on loan at Leicester for the rest of the season, and has starred for his new side, scoring once and assisting 4 times.
Leicester want to sign Tielemans permanently, but Manchester United have emerged as surprising competition for the former Anderlecht midfielder. Tielemans is rated by parent club AS Monaco at 40 million pounds, but with Tottenham also interested, that price may rise. Leicester are hoping they can finish the deal in the coming weeks, as they try and use Adrien Silva as part of the deal.
Rogers was asked about Tielemans and said "He's a top-class young talent. But I always have to respect he's a Monaco player. I'm sure there will be discussions between the two of us. He's certainly a player who I would love to continue working with. He's only going to get better."
